I use to play Monopoly with my brother and cousins when we were 12 year old. It was fun but intense. At some point, the players began to cheat and steal money. The game often turned ugly and the relationship turned sour.
But at dinner when the game was far over, my cousin would take $500 of monopoly money and hand it to me. He would say "Chris, I am sorry I stole this money during the game, here, I am returning it to you."
But you see, monopoly money is good only when the game is on. After which, it is quiet useless.
Life is like a monopoly game. Money and career is important to us. But when life is over, we cannot bring them up to heaven. Our achievements seem dull in the light of God's Glory, Rather 'Build your riches in heaven where moths and worms cannot decay them" |
