Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

In the chapter Philippians 2:5-11 Paul’s brought out the qualities of Jesus in His life as a man. The entire scripture verse reveals Jesus attitude towards His purpose for coming as a man:

1. An Unselfish Attitude
   Phil 2:5-6 reveals that though Christ by virtue of His eternal deity, had every right to remain on the throne of heaven. But His love for us compelled Him to do otherwise.
   


2. A Servant Attitude
   The Son of God set aside the independent exercise of His divine attributes in order to accomplish the Father’s plan. One of His greatest description of the incarnation of Christ as a man is that he became a servant.
   


3. A Humble Attitude
   The simple truth in Phil 2:8 revealed the inexpressible willingness of Christ to lower Himself for our sake.
   


4. An Obedient Attitude
   Christ took his mission of obedience even though knowing that it would put Him through suffering and a disgraceful death. We, the children of God, are asked to follow these attitudes by having all them in our mind always. So today, we should not conformed to the things of this world. If you live like the world, you'll be overcome by the world. So don't let the world squeeze you into its own mold. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)
